Popups Comedy is run by JP Lambiase, a working stand-up with two Kill Tony appearances, winner of the 2025 Cape Coral Comedy Festival and third in Florida’s Funniest 2026. Booking here is a phone call to people he has shared a stage with.
Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Sanford, Apopka, Ocoee, Clermont, Kissimmee, Mount Dora and Sorrento. If your venue is a little further out, ask anyway. We travel for the right date.

Sorrento. A members club that had never hosted stand-up. Saturday night, full production, a room that does not normally do this at all.
Sorrento. A bar and restaurant. A Christmas BBQ buffet night that sold 122 tickets, then a run of headliner shows through the winter.
Ocoee. A rock venue, on Sunday nights, which is the night most places would rather stay shut. Three of them.
Ten shows, hundreds of seats sold, in rooms that were not built for comedy. A ballroom of people who already want to be there is the easy end of this.

Travel is included in the quote, not added afterwards. Dates inside four weeks and holiday season sit at the higher end.

Four to eight weeks is comfortable. November and December book out by September in Orlando, so a holiday party is worth locking early. We do take short-notice dates and we will tell you straight away if one is not realistic.
For most Orlando dates, yes, and that keeps the price down because nobody is being flown in. When a date calls for a specific act from elsewhere, travel is quoted inside the flat price rather than added later.
A performance area about eight feet square, access to power, and a room where people are facing the stage rather than scattered around a bar. We will walk the space with you or your venue beforehand.
Yes, and we put it in writing before the date. Tell us the audience and anything off limits, and the set is built to that brief. This is the single most common way a corporate comedy booking goes wrong, so we do not leave it to trust.
We replace them. That is the real argument for booking through us rather than direct: a cancellation on a direct booking is your problem at 4pm, and on ours it is ours.
